Hosted by Kreston member firm, Duncan & Toplis, the event took place at the Doubletree by Hilton Hotel in historic Lincoln. Delegates from Kreston firms from all over the UK, Ireland, Isle of Man and Channel Islands attended to share best practice and discuss developments across several specialist sectors including Audit, Tax, Charities, Healthcare, IT and Professional Practices.
Kreston CEO, Jon Lisby, who provided an update on global developments and strategy commented that he was delighted with the attendance of 102 delegates representing 14 member firms from across the UK. Attendance at an event such as this further highlights the importance of members meeting to develop those trusted relationships which can lead to regional and international collaboration, offering the opportunity to develop mutual business and new lasting client relationships.
The feedback from each of the group sessions indicated that there had been a vast amount of productive conversations taking place, with many useful ideas being shared and action plans for future collaboration put in place.
Matthew Lee, Chairman of Kreston UK and Managing Partner of Bishop Fleming, also commented that the annual Kreston UK conference brings together some of the most respected and influential accounting firms in the country. Collectively Kreston are the 11th largest grouping in the UK.
Delegates concluded the event with a dinner in the Chapter House at beautiful Lincoln Cathedral.
